Jeannie Gionfriddo is an author of short stories and novellas. Previously,she was a columnist for The Polish Star, and later a food columnist for The Holyoke Sun. Jeannie wrote the section on ‘Early Indian Life’ in historian Wyatt Harper’s centennial book THE STORY OF HOLYOKE,and her article “Murder at the Waldorf-Astoria” appeared in EJAG magazine for Jaguar enthusiasts. Jeannie is also an award-winning chef and has published her own cookbook, SHARING MY BEST.

Mark Gionfriddo directs the Jazz Performance program at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. While he is chiefly known as a multi-talented keyboard performer, composer, arranger, and musical director, Mark also has a keen interest in history and writing. This is his first book.
